Fridays 9-10AM/ Saturdays 9:15-10:30AM (Zoom) This class offers a blend of Yoga asana as well as Somatic Strength exercises, and ends with deep rest... A balance of strength and stillness. As we age it is important to add muscle building exercise to our practice. Why add resistance training to our yoga practice? Resistance training can be a wonderful support to our yoga practice. Many times we ask our bodies to do postures that add load to unknown and possible weak musculature that supports our joints , which can cause injury over time, or immediately. Resistance training can help build muscle and preserve it, and support stability in our joints to support our practice. REGISTRATION After you register you will receive an invite for this class and others scheduled during the week. You will also be sent a Health Waiver form via email to be filled out at your earliest convenience. You must be fully registered before attending any classes. See you soon!
